# Royalty Caps

We will set royalty caps within the platforms, ensuring that royalties are clearly displayed at drop and secondary purchases. This is to avoid what we’ve seen in the past where users purchase NFTs without knowing the implications of a purchase. There is nothing worse than buying an NFT and then realising there is a 40%-50% royalty fee. 

Although there are mixed views on royalties in general we see them as having clear value within the right collections and setting.

Caps will be set to a maximum of 10% with the right to refusal if required from the team.
